The Rustic RabbitHut
16) Bed Intruder17) Cuttin the Cows
The surface is quiet.
The only undead are in my chambers.
Or so I thought...
A kobold thief corpse has escaped !
My axedwarves are sent to cut them up, so the escaped one loses an arm and a leg.
Then my militia go in to "tame" the other corpses, just in case.
The butchered cow parts don't put up any fight at all.
The kobold corpses don't even land a blow (when they die, the drop their weapon).
My axedwarves have cut the cow into 5 different skin pieces, including cow head skin,
cow tail skin, and cow leg skins. So after some thought, I decide to get leather out of them.
And there are two cow hair things too, so I want to get some thread out of them for my hospital.
I got a Novice spinner from the Autumn migrants, so he gets to work.
However, the Novice Tanner from that migrant wave is on break, so my Brewer subs in.
...
Did I mention that I have temporarily sealed off my surface because I need to relocate stone?
Well, I did, and it turns out very good decision.
When Kyuoko ExpLeader goes to pasture an animal,
I get a notification
It has started raining.
And here's what appears.
It only covers the West&Center parts of my map.
Re-checks biomes in Chapter 1.
Yep, I only have one evil region, so I'm not sure why the map got "partially" rained nefarious soot.
...
Who says undead biomes don't have payoff?
Here are the results of one immigrant cow.
Well, the Kobold corpses are still there, since we don't butcher sentients for some reason.
Their entrails are hanging out as they walk around in their designated prison.
This fort has had more entrails then all my previous forts combined.
Guess my dwarves are just savage here.
Well, one dwarf isn't.
Sayaka, my stonecrafter, has just made 2 masterwork toys (the dwarves requested toys).
Then her baby cannon activates.
Pregnant dwarves may work harder. I should give them more work.
Oh Look, Spring Migrants Have Arrived.
