I have a dwarf who likes killing more then her babies. And she is pumping out alot.

Don't let her combine the two.
She has babies while fighting just so she can have a little time to rest.

Well that's not too bad for a dwarf. What would be bad is her killing the babies she pums out, for fun. That's what I meant by combining.

The first baby she had when fighting Elk birds. She dropped it and watched it die. Then killed the birds. I'm tempted to see if she can kil FBs.

As long as she drops another baby during the fight, I guess she can.

Just got another artifact. It was a furnace operator with points in weaponsmithing, I had my hopes up. I didn't notice that he had ever so slightly more points in mechanics  :'(

Now I have two artifact mechanisms at least...

Put them in your pickiest nobles' rooms as gear assemblies. As far as I know, and speaking from my own experience, this is a good and easy way of turning a hovel into a 'Royal Bedroom'.

Snatcher! Protect the children!

...Only the person who found the goblin master thief was the off-duty militia captain for my sword squad, who was also attached to her ☼steel short sword☼. The goblin made a stab at her and ran off, only the captain parried it, caught up with the goblin a few seconds later, slashed in the lower body, tearing apart the guts, and stabbing it in the head, ripping apart a muscle, shattering the skull, tearing apart the brain, and tearing a tendon in the head(there are tendons in the head?).

... Yes, the hugs are for everyone.  No stabbing, though.  Just hugs.

Goblins seem to have them. The 'A tendon in the head has been torn!' generally signifies 'one hit kill' as far as I know, though, and it comes together with the message about heavy brain damage.

Well, the outside of the fort is a scene of carnage-Dead warthogs piled everywhere, blood trails, a slightly smaller, neater pile of dead dwarves- But we've fought them off, for now. Only normal warthogs left.
New migrants have arrived, right when we needed them, and are being put to work, mostly trying to establish some farms.
The expedition leader has been posessed... All the dwarves are worried about him, rather than doing anything productive, he's simply decided he prefers the company of dead, rotting warthogs to other dwarves, and is wandering around out there, doing Armok-knows what with their corpses...

It's the tendons in the mouth, it's just that they require such signifigant damage to be hurt it usually kill too.

Just had my first "Siege". One nondescript macedwarf died. My Legendary Militia Commander, still attached to his rubbish obsidian sword, engaged about 8 swordsgoblins solo for about 30 seconds. This resulted in him crippling about 3 of them while having half his arm chopped off, his eye fractured, his cheek cut into, his other arm fractured, and his leg broken. Despite the fact that I equipped him with many war animals, they didn't arrive until later and half of them were killed almost immediately. He was unconcious when a valiant Novice Swordsman chopped up his attackers, and saved him, although I've taken him out of the military due to his damage. :(

EDIT : He went berzerk and he had to be killed by his former mates. His main competitor for glory, another legendary swordsman that was now the Militia Commander, ended him with a single slash straight through the abdomen.  :'(
