[TRUNCATED]
Edit3: 15 kits. I think I'll stop counting now...
Edit4: I lied. 30 kits. 8 male. (?)

Foxsplosion? Also, how is Civ 5? I just got back into Civ 3.

Quite engrossing, though a bit too simplified. Still, very much worth it and I can't wait to see what the inevitable expansion packs hold.

One of my leatherworkers (male) produced an artifact gorilla leather skirt, then proceded to wear it.

My dwarfes took an entire season to mine out the first floor.
Some migrants arrived in the meantime and as always I have a metric shitton of stone.

I had a Dragon attack my fort.
I raised the bridge that guards my entrance and ordered my marksdwarfs to the battlements (Only one actually bothered to show up...without ammo).
Ha, I'm safe inside nia nia niah !
Oh look, I locked out a kitten  :D
* LuckyLuigi watches dragon chase the kitten in front of my fort burning down half the map. Damn that's funny.
Heh, the kitten runs toward my entrance...it's a dead end for you kitty !
* LuckyLuigi watches dragon exhale...and watches dragon fry the kitten, incidentally BLASTING DOWN THE RAISED BRIDGE and BURNING ALL THE wooden CAGE TRAPS to ash.  :o

* LuckyLuigi watches dragon charge into the main hall and start butchering. Eventually, my chaps managed to kill it. Dragon roast all 'round !

I thought a raised bridge was indestructible. Whoops.

Not too sure. He's being very secretive about his latest creation of what looks like a leather bag. I think I saw him steal some metal pipes from the stockpile.

In my current fort, I walled off the underground the moment the first forgotten beast showed up.  It was fun watching the first three forgotten beasts destroy the native swallowman population, but now there are approximately ten forgotten beasts lurking around down there, and of my four squads of soldiers, the highest proficiency in any weapon is adequate.  I don't think I will ever unwall it.

After 5 years, the dwarfs of Duskspire are finally beginning to pump magma for their massive 64x64x8 obsidian block-to-be.

It's especially gratifying, because I chucked 8 captured troglodytes in front of the encroaching magma. They had been assaulting those brave dwarves who were gathering water for the water reactor.

"The king has arrived with his full entourage. You are now a Mountainhome."

But I only just got a baron! I guess Kivish Tosidushrir made somewhat of an impression on the King. That said, I'm sure I can find a spot in the warmer regions of Darkmeadow. Surely, a dwarf of his stature needs a magmafall in his bedroom.

I had the same problem, though it was "the king has arrived dressed as a peasant". It said that but never gave me a king.

WHY DID YOU HAVE ME KICK THEM WTF I DID NOT WANT TO BE SHOT AT.
I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

The goblins have gone all in with this last siege, 48 goblins, 8 of them elites, 12 of them on mounts, 20 trolls and their daemon law-giver has come to lead them. I was able to capture nearly 8 of them in cages, while about 25 were served the gruesome death sentence of being atom smashed. I was unable to get their daemon to come towards my fort (apparently she wouldn't path through the trap maze )
It would have been oh so satisfying to kill the leader of the gobbo civilization.

hearken back to my days of playing Warhammer, I shall not rest until every dwarf killed by goblin hands is avenged seventy times over, Until every name is crossed from the book of grudges.
