You used open-legends. Don't use open-legends. Use the old trick of save duplication and retiring.

It's slow, but it never causes a crash. To this day, I don't know whether it was open-legends or tiletypes, but others have reported it was open-legends. So. That's what it is.

Yes, that was probably it; I had used open-legends about a game week before this glitch. Too bad, since it's very convenient.

I had to turn off temperature because of a bug. Those fire clowns would render the passage inaccessible, even for themselves.

Then I found my marksdwarves were not skillful enough to shoot through fortifications and thus became victims of those fireball throwing jesters...plan B then, let me try some spike traps.

Two of my founders, both heterosexual females, just got romantically involved with each other. Is this just a phase or some experimentation? I might have confined my dwarves a little bit too much.

I unretired the great fortress of Traderomance today. In my absence they've fought off regular sieges including one massive wave of over 1000 goblins. The survivors (about a third of the dorfs I left behind) seem to be doing OK.

The visitors, as expected, are a bit wacky. None of them are pretendng to be 'hostile' though, which is nice.

For their part in defending Traderomance, three of the visiting humans have apparently been made Captain of the Guard, Champion and Hammerer of a nearby dwarf fortress. Not sure what they're doing in my tavern.

In addition a huge number of visitors (not citizens, definitely not part of my military) are currently converging on my fortress heading for 'individual combat drill'. Interested to see how that turns out.

Now where's that 'strange visitor behavior after unretire bug report...'.

There must be something I overlooked, because the clowns destroyed hatch cover from below... maybe I forgot to lock it? Oh no.

What the hell happened to her?
The old woman?

All her limbs are rotted or injured in some fashion...

God, I hate crundles with a passion just because there's always so many of them. Gets real annoying real fast when job cancellations with "Interrupted by Crundle" keep popping up.

Some kind of poison symptom.
The surgeon died long time ago, maybe I should train a new one...

One of the reason I seal the caverns...even if you kill them, there are too many corpses.
