I got a second goblin siege! In the same fort! It's been months since this has happened.
One soldier's head got cut open by a spear during the fight and my doctors stitched it up with silk made from the webs of a forgotten beast.
The best part? This guy killed that FB. I love this so much.  :D

The militia commander punches The Forgotten Beast in the head with her right hand, tearing the fat and bruising the muscle and bruising the brain!

So crab doesn't have a skull.

Another FB. It was a 3 eyed lobster.

It's a crustacean. It has a shell, not a skull.

Yeah, I know.
The shell doesn't work like a skull, so the dorfs literally punch through their fat and muscle to damage their the brain.

i thought it would be time to get rid of those megabeast (a minotaur, ettin, giantess, cyclops and bronze coloosus) that were on display for around 4 to 10 years in my fort. so i placed them in my excecution chamber, send my military in and closed the doors... well apparently i forgot to allign the beast to different levers, and all asigned them to one single lever... i noticed my mistake too late, but suprisingly my military didnt even got an injury (although my artifact wielding militia commander only poked the minotaur with the pummel of his waraxe and than blabbering about how he doesnt have to feel vengeful about this... around 100 times...) so i kinda wait now for anything to happen, since i have prepared a full set of adamantine armor for 9 dwarfes. perhaps i should try to breach some more candy for some final fun and a perfect end for this fortress ;)

Some weaver had the poor timing to try to cross the drawbridge after the lever was pulled. Whatever was in that bin he was carrying, it's permanently untasked now. Should I order him a slab, or leave the mystery of his disappearance to the dwarves to muse over? I like the idea of having a haunted drawbridge; what kind of ghost would I get?

The fat around the head is an issue here. A tissue raws mod is in order.

si finally in year 13 a fb shows up. a huge hairy alligator. it had a knobby trunk and it had a bloated body. Its vermilion hait was patchy, beware its poisonous bite...

well it didnt even hit any dwarf, and my  10 legendary axedwarfs, my 17 elite wrestlers, my 2 lashers and my militia leader made short work of it. i had grizzly bears that had a longer combat log than this^^

I copied my save and retired, then exported legends so I could see what was happening while my fort was running.

Apparently two of my kings died in 260 (this year), killed by goblins. THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU HAD COME TO BASTIONGATE LIKE YOU SHOULD HAVE

EDIT: On second thought, the first one died of old age. The second one was killed by goblins. It still could have been prevented.

I may or may not have a weretortoise outbreak in the fortress, I think I may have the infected contained but I can't be totally certain... here's to hoping so!

...also one of the infected, a farmer, got gelded by the weretortoise trader... what a way to recieve such a horrible curse.

1. If that's the entire combat log, he isn't infected.
2. Yes, it would heal, but werebeasts are sterile, I believe.

So this webber forgotten beast has been terrorizing the second cavern for a while, so I decided to take care of it. I said fuck it and sent the entire military after it. The only combat report was a mace lord kicking its head in. Ooooooookay...
