Addicted to......Clicker Heroes?!
« on: May 22, 2015, 03:27:20 pm »

Oh well, yet another idle/clicker game.

Wait...what?!

Oh good, I am not alone.

This is the best click/wait/upgrade game I have ever played and I have played most of them. You won't notice this on your first run tho, the first run is a bitch.
Ok, seriously, I don't know what it is but this game is currently keeping me from playing anything else. I want to stop playing but I can't.

It has different builds you can play depending on your style (idle/active), nice skills, treasures, ancients...gahrghl.

The dev released an update just today so it's still being developed too.
You should try it.  8)

Indeed, it can be a bit addictive. :P

One thing to make clear, it is very slow to start off, normally taking over a day for your first run, even with active attention.

Also, Beginners guide.

It took me about 4 days of regular playing before my first ascension, which apparently added only 10% damage bonus. Compared to Time Clickers, progress feels tediously slow and customization feels lacking. I'll keep playing though, hoping it gets better.

It's also available as a browser version :)
Also you can start multiple steam games, I don't see the problem?

You just...start another game.

Does it give you an error or something?

Yes.
Keeps saying 'you already have another steam game running' and such.

Wat? Steam has no limitation like that. The only limitation is that you can't start the same game twice maybe/IIRC.
You should reinstall steam or something, I don't know :)

Well, either way the game is more or less running in the background if you close it. It just figures out how much time passed since you last saved and works out how much money you'd have if you kept playing without upgrading.

But yeah, some games don't run while you have another steam game running. I think the limit might be along the lines of not being able to have two games with steamworks on at the same time, or something in that vein.
