Fridge of Destiny: A Multiple Choice Adventure
« on: May 21, 2015, 01:01:42 am »

Just a silly little game to prevent me from getting a writing lock-up while slumped on my other ones

One night, as you sit alone in your dingy little apartment, you feel a rumble in your stomach and go over to your fridge. To your dismay, you find nothing edible inside. No leftovers, no takeout, no packaged foods. Nothing. There is no food in your home, and it is far too late at night to go get something. But what's this? A ziplock baggie at the very back of the fridge. fat congealed on the insides and pink slices within! Yes! Ham! It has been in there for two weeks: is it still edible? What choice do you have? You open the bag and take a bite, noticing nothing immediately odd. And this was how you...

A) Gained superpowers
B) Became Patient Zero
C) Came down with a nasty case of food poisoning
D) Realized how sad your life is
E) None of the above.

Dying of laughter?
Dying of pure unbridled hatred, actually.

All fanfics are heresy, each and every one, especially the shipping ones. Those are by far the worst.

+0.5. Patient Zero of the carnivorous jam apocalypse

+1. Jam. Or at least something possible to loosely interpret as jam.

(Honorable mention:)
Quote from: the IRC
<SomeStupidGuy>     why is there no All of The Above?
(Looks like: ~5 B, 2 C, 1 D)

You go to bed, starting to feel unwell, but are soon woken up when you run to the bathroom and vomit blood into the sink for several minutes. Terrified, you try to call the hospital, but find you cannot speak for all the coughing and vomiting. Feeling woozy, you plummet back into bed, and feel yourself loosing lucidity, sinking into delerium. You remain like this until...

A) Paramedics arrive, responding to a 911 call where the only audio was horrific hacking and coughing.
B) A friend stops by your apartment to check on you, after you haven't been seen for a few days.
C) You know not how much later, but in a feverish, dreamlike haze, you feel compelled to go outside into the sunlight.
D) None of the above.

E) Our flesh and bone mix into a strawberry-colored, vaguely lumpy ooze over a period of several days. We sense its hunger for material while mysteriously retaining a token amount of cohesion.

(This choice is not mutually exclusive to the others. The choice in this turn it when/how you become exposed to others)

You rise from your bed, feverish and not feeling entirely there, but feeling the warmth of the sun through your window. Yes... such a nice day outside... go outside... you leave wet footprints behind you at you trudge down the hall, down the stairs, out onto the street, out the door... yes, the sun is indeed nice. But all these... people... around you, staring with wide eyes. They fill you with...

A) Rage
B) Fear
C) Hunger
D) Laughter
E) None of the above
