All: In a single word, describe what you believe what the most important aspect of Mafia is. Expound if you wish.
birdy51: Welcome back.  You haven't played here for a while.  Do you think your playstyle now will be significantly different than that before your break?

In a word, yes. I'm taking a more relaxed approach.

Another word: Dying.

Darkstar: This makes me curious. Why Dying in particular?

Magma.

Origami: Oh you. That's just Dwarf Fortress you're thinking of. What would be your real answer?

Discussion. Alternatively, Paranoia or Investigation. But I think out of those, Discussion is the most important.

ToonyMan: Why put the head out for display? What clues do YOU glean from the opening text?

Peradon: What do you plan on doing for your day 1 play?

Roo: Which players do you know best? Which of them would you consider the greatest threat if, hypothetically, that player were on the other team?

Spruce: How much impact will the power roles have on this game, and do you think that there will be enough discussion for everyone?

4maskwolf: Ah, the old "I'm Not Playing" gambit. Do you think anybody will notice this question?

TheDarkStar: What importance do classic scum tells hold for you? What is the most important scum tell to look for? Or, would answering this question change the answer?

Persus13: What would you define as a town tell? Or, would answering this question change the answer?

Jack AT: I was in the Beginner's Mafia, but I forgot which one.

bird51: Why do you think Dwarf Fortress wouldn't apply to Mafia?

4maskwolf: Ah, the old "I'm Not Playing" gambit. Do you think anybody will notice this question?
flabort: 4maskwolf always did love weird gambits like not playing.

Cheesecake: Alright.  How do you think this will differ from a BM?

Jack A T: Well, there are more rolls. This is also cult, which I think is more difficult. Also, I'm not playing with beginners so I'm really just jumping in.

TheDarkStar: You're the first person to jump the gun and blame someone. Eager beaver?

birdy51: Why do you think Dwarf Fortress wouldn't apply to Mafia?

Cheesecake: This would first force me to consider what about Dwarf Fortress does apply to Mafia. I suppose Meticulousness and Attention(to detail) are both things about Dwarf Fortress that would apply to Mafia.

But as a rule, Magma doesn't have anything to do with Mafia unless it's Dwarvern BYOR. Further, I believe that Dwarf Fortress can be applied to Mafia, which raises the question as to why you asked me that question in the first place.

What made you think that I thought that Dwarf Fortress doesn't apply to Mafia?

How do you know there's a cult? Supernatural isn't always a cult game.

Indeed! An ice-breaker question is in order.

hmmmmmm. liked birdies entrance. got people talking without having them create the usual fluff fest. Not sure if his laters pists are as good.

@birdy: What is the town motivation behind pursuing a line of query that involves following up on the likeness of dwarf fortress and mafia?
I might be simply singling you out because I really liked your entrance.

I am going to votecheesecake for reasons.

spruce: How did you find playing with NQT?

Jack: It was almost as if he wasn't even there.

spruce: What did you like about his playstyle in the championship?
Jack: It wasn't in some weird question and answer format. Is this how the entire game is played?

birdy51: You asked for origami's real answer when he said 'magma'.

flabort: How do we know there isn't?

roo: Those reasons are?

Jack: It wasn't in some weird question and answer format. Is this how the entire game is played?
spruce: Well, we start by questioning each other for a while about stuff, usually theory, until people start trying to kill each other or everyone wants to kill roo.  Then we question each other about our desires to kill each other.  Then people die and we question each other about that, and so on.

There's a lot of questioning here.

flabort:Dear flaybort of the flaming skull-hand-thingy,

dude, like there's like a flaming skull-hand-thingy and omens of ded ghostie things, mystic sorcery, werebears, unnamed monsters, and general n'er-do-wellednesses and mayhem. My eyes are like THIS BIG. Of course they're going to strongly impact the game. I'm gonna be over there under that rock as much as I dare. You go ahead and talk first and we'll see how it goes, 'k?
