If you'd like, just post an action and I'll swap you in as the Maroon King, though if Yourmaster posts an action for this turn later on he'll still be in.

It shouldn't be too difficult at the beginning. Of course, that's my perspective... and I invented this monstrosity... yeah. So, yeah, go ahead.

hm. That's only for the first unit to be made of that type, after which it's just normal cost. So if you can get past one large pulse of cost, you can get your special unit or whatnot a lot cheaper. There's a point to that, however. I might think about changing the costs of the current two Arcane Essence modifiers. Maybe down to 15 instead of 20, and 12 instead of 15? Maybe not.

Let's do the math
3 fonts that can be drained 10 times each for progressively less arcane. If the rolls are all horrible. Each font will produce 10 arcane adding to a total of 30. That is enough to produce one tap essence unit. If all 3 fonts were mined by one player.

There could be no more arcane using units after that.

First up, that's incredibly unlikely, second up, each player starts with 10 Arcane Essence in their pool, third up, there are Flaws that can be taken for Arcane Essence cost.

Also, if you kill a King, you get all the Essence in that player's Pool, just saying.

So yes, I'll do some revisions on the basic Arcane Essence costs for stuff.

To put it simply, the chance of rolling a one in the Font tapping is 1/x where x is... you know. So let's go down... to get the probability... 1/10 * 1/9 * 1/8 * 1/7 * 1/6 * 1/5 * 1/4 * 1/3 * 1/2 * 1. That's the probability of all ones on one Arcane Essence font. And we have three Arcane Essence fonts, so... take that twice more, then multiply those numbers together. The end result should be the chance of getting all ones on the Arcane Essence Fonts. So... it's so small as to be not an issue. If it actually happens, I'm going to give Kevak a free portion of 100 Arcane Essence, just for manipulating probability against all known laws of physics.

All units thus far that are not structures get one Move Action and one Action, which can both be used provided movement is before other actions. So you could move and tap, or move and prototype. I need to start work on the turn now don't I.

Red King moves down one square and saps the Essence Font at (1,1) and gains (7) Offense Essence!

Orange King uses Prototype and creates a Mook.

Purple King moves 2 spaces right.

Maroon King moves 1 space right and taps the Essence Font at (1,13) and gains (8 ) Offense Essence!
