Hmmm, I would say Lanealot, as we might want to fill in our 'fast and strong' hole in our team, though I do kinda want to grab chuck, waterfall does seem to be a pretty powerful move.

Ah, whatever, Pick Chuck.

Well.. Waterfall is a nice move to have, and should do us more good in the intermediate future, than more fitting natures.
But, since Chuck is - even by his own breeder! - considered somewhat of a reject, from an IC point of view, he is also a very fitting choice for us.

TLDR?: +1!

I'll admit the fact that Chuck was called a reject was about half of the reason I suggested we pick him.

Plus, we can swim up waterfalls.

There is simply no better escape route than up a waterfall.

Yeah.... No. An Oshawott isn't actually dragging somebody up a waterfall under PTU Mechanics.

What!? Next you're gonna tell me a 145lbs trainer can't ride across skies on a baby pidgey!

My only question is whether you can achieve Pidgey flight with a flock. Just tie 35 Pidgey's together. Through their combined powers, we shall obtain flight.

I actually remember one of the PTA/PTU versions actually said that was possible in the rulebook once. I think I'll be enforcing a 6 Pokemon Limit here though, just to stop Kyurin from using sheer numbers to ROFLSTOMP the NPCs.

I wonder how PTU games normally handle flight. It makes sense in a video game to backtrack and travel anywhere you've visited with a magical feathery warp, but it seems like it could break an RPG.

You arbitrarily can't go more than a few feet off the ground without a move like fly or bounce while in battle. Beyond that, more or less anything goes, but travel time is actually a thing.

You think so? Just plant a small flight of 2cnd stage birds, headed with the two 3rd stage parents, and flight looses much of its utility, turning into one easily sprung trap instead.

While one could argue that territorial birds would have been driven from the main-roads, you can just introduce a wander-flight of young birds without any territory in the first place, or the current climate driving them from their normal spots and such and such.
