Fred pulls something out of his skin. On closer examination, it appears to be a thin sliver of crystal. He holds it up to his face.

"Can you try holding this?"

Celia looks somewhat panicked. "N-no, no, j-just, well... h-hormones, you know..."

Yuri merely shakes his head.
"Understandable."

[Adragis]

"O-okay... sorry."
She does so.

"Nothing to apologise for, Miss Celia.

The crystal rapidly heats up, and Fred holds up his hand, the crystal shooting right back into it imperceptibly quickly.

He holds it up.

"Yup. About as much as I expected. This is an indicator or the excess energy it is picking up, and it looks like-"

Fred looks at it even closer, and it floats back into his hand. Then he frowns. The crystal re-emerges, and falls onto the ground, where it pulsates.

"Mmhmm."
Celia looks down at it.
"Hm?"

"SYSTEM: OVERLOAD. OVERLOAD PROTOCOLS NOW ACTIVE."

Fred sort of disintegrates into lots of small objects, which quickly scurry into any crevice they can find. A voice sounds in Celia's head, saying.

"Well, that happened, clearly."

[Adragis]

No voice sounds in her head, because she is unable to use telepathy. Or receive it.

Sylver looks surprised by this. "Really? Like what?"

Fred is frustrated by this. A small buzzing fly creature inches it's way over to her head, and then lands on her.

"Please no slapping."

Celia isn't really bothered, although the fly might not appreciate her magic. Thankfully it's being a little suppressed thanks to Sabrina's proximity.
"O-okay... what ha-happened?"

Sylver looks surprised by this. "Really? Like what?"

"Let us just say, charges of a rather.....infernal persuasion."

"Energy overload. Not actually sure how it happened, as the crystal's energy capacity is much lower than it should be."

[Adragis]

((I'm fairly certain there'd be an overload anyway.))
"O...k-kay?"

[Pencil_Art]

"I can still coordinate movement. Just a lot slower, and we are a collective now. Um."

The crystals begin clumping back together again on the ground, and the flying thing joins them. When the thing is complete, it stretches.

"Damn. My equivalent backbone's gone now."
