Trude's skin has lost some of it's magical health due to extensive use of normal water. Trude's skin is actually rather rough, unlike Sunniva who is at normal (elf) smoothness.
Same goes for hair.
"So that's why you look so sick?"
"Yeah, they don't have natural lakes at school."

Quincy's interest grabbed by a new voice, she glanced upwards; even then, she couldn't find the person's face. Continuing up, she was almost looking straight at the ceiling when she met his gaze.
