Nina glances over at Tessa, who is chatting in Japanese with the waitress. "Specify. What was the incident, or what was the aftermath?"

The door of the restaurant opens and in walks Milenko.  He looks a little haggered, but in a smugly cheerful sort of way, the bastard.
"Hey guys. Got called home for a few days, some family stuff. Still got on the trip though. There still a seat for me?"

Behind him is a tall, broad-shouldered man in a grubby hoodie. Milenko turns around and gives him a little nod and the man turns and walks away from the restaurant.
