He nods, then sighs, looking down at himself. "Right. This got boring. I'm gonna go change." A bit more... literal-minded than most, really, but rightly so he'd head back to his room, repuprose his clothing back to a semblance of normalcy (though he kept the modified jacket, he otherwise reverted to his old physical appearance, voice, and other such things), before returning.

"Watcha reading?"

"Oh, it's this book I got in the endless library thing. It's about techniques to trigger emotions on demand, which I need to get good at doing since controlling my power kinda depends on doing it."

He scrunches his face up briefly at a particularly dense segment of text.

"Of course this is all really high-level stuff so I'm having a hard time even figuring out the language, much less actually understanding the techniques in it."

"This sounds stupid to say, but I break things. Stuff I touch, or focus on, or look at too hard sometimes, or lean against, breaks. For some reason it doesn't happen when I'm mad though. Or on really negative emotions like that. Dunno why."
