Madi taps her chin. She needed blood for this ritual... Only an ounce or two.
"Well, here goes nothing..."
She draws some of her own blood, and sends it to every corner of the magic circle drawn upon the wall. She begins chanting quietly, and upon finishing, anyone in room 2A would have their wall shaken, as if someone turned the bass up a little do much. Madi, on the otherhand, is launched onto the floor from the shockwave.
"Well that was... unexpected..."

She begins to read, and the smile starts to fade.

"What do you tend to read, anyhow?" Cynthia enquires, cutting off a piece of meat.
Larissa wonders when Torimus will return. She also remembers how he complimented her eyes.
There's probably something wrong with him, but that was... nice.

"Mostly books on human culture. Otherwise science fiction or fantasy."

"Do you have a favourite book?"

"The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I think you've asked me this before."
