Presumably, having been playing for almost 2 hours, Corentine has made it to the first boss. I.E. This thing.

Corentine ignores Nina and dies immediately dodges right left, flinging magic at the boss once she's clear. ((Still don't have to narrate this.))

Several balls of foxfire blink into existence and begin orbiting around Kiri. Anyone within several feet can feel the heat radiating off them. It's not comfortable heat. "Maybe I should skin you? You could see how the foxes feel. Fry up your kidneys. Forcefeed them to ya. You could see how your dick tastes.. Or maybe I should pickle that? Donate it to that museum in Iceland." Several more blink into existence. The ones already manifest are quickly getting too bright to look at. At this point, standing within arms reach is physically painful. The chair Kiri is in appears to be smoking slightly.

It tastes a lil sweet, a lil bitter, and oddly a lil yellow. You didn't know yellow had a flavor. You can also taste a sort of warmth. It's weird.

((Unless Yukari has magically hidden her knife(s?) John does sense their presence too. That's normally no big deal, since John doesn't care all that much about weapons around him as long as they are not pointed at him.))

"I'm pretty sure the foxes didn't feel any thing anything after i killed them. And I generally do that first. And what's the big deal? Those were just a few foxes. You react like i was hunting humans."
