"Right. Library." He seems almost happy to see her, too.

"We were researching you, right? Fascinating~"

"Thanks?" Larissa pats down her hair. "So... uh, shall we go?"

"Yes, let's." He turns, offering his arm again like he had before and heading toward the library.

[Adragis]

Larissa, again giggling, takes the arm and walks with him.
Walking with him like that doesn't help your case.
It's harmless! Might as well enjoy this while it lasts.

Arriving at the Library, Torimus pushes open the door and holds it for Larissa. "Now! All of magical theory, history, and the very nature of the universe at our fingertips, every scrap of information ever written... Where shall we start?"

"I don't know... books to do with spirits?"

"Good start! But that's still a lot of books. I'd say a ton, except there's probably more than that. We need more to work on!"

[Adragis]

"Spirits with hosts? That's still a lot, but not quite so many."
I don't know whether to be sickened by this new development or grateful you're less likely to die.

"Right. And also, we know you were born with it, so... Heredity! Maybe we can find an account from some ancestor of yours with a similar problem? Or maybe we can narrow it down to spirits that are inborn rather than posessive..."

"And they have the ability to take over."
Don't forget the way we have different-colored hair and I have superpowers. That's always a tell.
"And superhuman abilities. And also my hair changes color when she takes over, so that might be something. Transformative properties?"

There's probably something wrong with him, but that was... nice.

"Mostly books on human culture. Otherwise science fiction or fantasy."
