Pandora watches the two half-carry, half-drag James away, "Sheesh."

Larissa tries lifting with her legs.

She's trying not to look at him anyway.

They carry him towards the infirmary. James groans a little and tilts his head to the side.

Well, his head's lying on something soft, at least.

The infirmary has the expected layout, however, it seems to have been designed for a far different facility. Each of the beds were stored in individual rooms arranged along the sides of a corridor of sorts to an unattended desk at its farthest end. Each room, in place of a regular door, had a regions of distorted light, some kind of barrier of sorts with readings from various monitoring devices projected against them, in their center is a circle of some kind of plastic equipped with an array of lights and a door handle. For all the rooms, only one light on the door handle is on - a dim green light indicating vacancy.

Andrei emerges from a room behind the desk and walks over to the trio. The supposed duplicate of him in the uncommon room vanishes.
"What happened to him, and why is he being carried like that?"

Larissa doesn't trust herself to say anything, opting instead to look around.

Torimus throws up an arm toward the burst of energy as it detonates, mentally gripping that tiny pearl of strangeness for dear life as he pours Malice through his arm. A massive red spiral of energy, not unlike a shield, forms in front of him, diverting the force of the blow chaotically in all directions as it blows outward, allowing him to at least keep his feet. He actually laughs as the Malice is sucked back into his arm, I the shield no longer needed. And then he blacks out.
