James tenses up and closes his eyes, so he doesn't see what happens next. His sword and it's sheath disappear as Pandora is upper cutted with enough force to knock her off her feet by a gauntlet clad hand.
"Finally, I was itching to fight!"

Corentine briefly does nothing before exiting the room at high speed.

That period of nothing is enough for the beast to kill her character. They wake up in a misty area in front of a building. There's what looks like a person laying back against the building, and more of those skeleton things holding weapons.
