Soul in the doll seems to be somehow blank. Basically a soul without a proper identity.

If Eve examines the soul again, she'll notice something change... the soul seems to resemble a soul cat for a mere second before returning back to it's normal state in the doll." If not for observing up close this detail may have been missed.
