Darren holds up his hands, swathed in his bulky gloves.

I don't exactly know what you'd call it - breaking magic? Destruction magic? Point is, I break anything I touch, or, or focus on too much, or stuff like that. I wear these gloves so I don't break everything I hold, but they don't work all the time.
I'd like to be able to touch things without hurting them again. Especially considering I've already hurt someone... he trails off, staring at his hands, which are shaking very slightly.
