The teacher sighs. "When the principal built the place, he also built a small pocket dimension connected to it. While he's in control of it, he allows us to shape it our needs. When we need it to be a safe area for power use, it is. If it needs to be a simulated city, it is. I've tried to get the specifics out of him, but he won't go any further than that."

Kumo draws his power into his body, all of it, except the tail. Since something is blocking the access to it.
There's slight flickers of dim azure lights in his hair. Then he draws it to his hand.
     Ignite.
The energy pulses through his body, and the azure flame reaches full flame instantly.

Kumo draws some power from the environment, but it's only his own emotions, giving the azure flame lines of blue.
     Can I eat my own flames?
Kumo licks the flame, the sweet flames are diluted by tasteless ones.
     Tastes like... candy.
Kumo keeps licking the foxfire.
