Selina takes a few notes, but it mostly seems to be on words to look up the meaning of, or the proper spelling. Otherwise, she appears to listen intently and learning something atleast.

Kumo hold out his hand and draws the foxfire out again. But this time it's not as fast, faster than the first time, but not as fast as last time.
     What am I doing wrong now?
Kumo draws the flame in, then tries to draw it out again. It's still slow.
     There's something I must've done before. But what?
Kumo does his foxfire draw in and out for a bit, to try and figure it out.
