And so, the crecendo.

A frightful amount of energy is building up in the Self-defense teacher, so much that really it can hardly be called physical anymore.

"Disaster..."

There's a particular type of technique designed by mages, but not truly magic, designed for use training mundane humans to combat supernatural threats. It's not a true destructive technique, not on its own. By nature, it doesn't deliver much energy into the body of the being it's used on, and generally only works as a counter-attack while some large expenditure of power is taking place.

The maid turns as the enemy approaches, hands opening as if accepting the enemy's blow. Then she blurs once more, displaying that same immense, unknowable speed that she'd shown before, but this time, in a much more tight space. As pandora reaches her, her body would move, stepping into her guard and placing a palm lightly against Pandora's navel.

She lets out a breath, and a spike of energy flows into Pandora's body, directly into the point that controls the power and flow of energy, disrupting its function for just a moment.

But that would be enough.

With nowhere to go, the power would turn back on itself, either dispersing harmlessly or, should it find itself trapped and without a way to do so, exploding violently out of the body by any means it can find.

Too easy. She has no idea what I am planning to do with my stored up energy does she?

"Heh, check and mate." Pandora grabs the Maid's arm, "You really thought I was going in for a strike didn't you? Or, maybe you thought I was going to release the destructive energy into my attack. No. My attack was simply to have the energy negated." The destructive energy inside of Pandora begins to collapse, causing massive amounts of steam to escape Pandora's body via her pores. For a brief moment, the maid could see a new type of energy forming. Something far worse than Destruction. "Final Impact: Dragon's Meteor." Pandora's body is covered in the marking of purple and red. Her fist is aimed directly for the Maid's head, and the strike is incredibly slow and deliberate. For some reason, escaping this attack seems almost like a bad idea. Almost like it would be misfortunate to do so. That was what the energy was. It was pure Misfortune.

Kumo finishes washing, and wipes the water off his hands with some paper.
Kumo faces Akia, and bows.
"S-sorry for, incon... venien... cing, you."
Long word.

She grins more, and then... she simply seems to cease to exist. Not become invisible, not fade away, she's just... suddenly not there, in every sense of the word.

"You know," a raspy, thinly accented voice emerges from the doorway "I was expecting student injuries, not staff injuries."
Andrei is standing there, tapping away at a PDA (specifically one of magical nature, made by request, as he trusted neither the privacy nor the lifespan of mundane mobile devices) in a rhythm that perhaps may be seen as frantic were it not for it being maintained near-constantly when he was outside the infirmary.

((I was not aware he had the ability to cross dimensions.))

((Yeah, there was a field put in place that created an isolated field within the combat arena. Which would require dimension-hopping abilities to go inside while active.))

Pandora realizes what her attack had done, "Well shit. My lose it seems. So much for fighting fair. Damn Familair tricked me." She snaps her finger as the rest of the misfortune dissipates into her box and releases the separation field.

And then the Maid reappears, bowing cordially to her.

"I have learned much from you, Pandora. In a real fight, you likely would have defeated me, and I recognize you as the greater fighter, even if I have won this bout on technicality."

Oh no.
"I... I, I'm sorry, I didn't m-mean to distract... I... I."
Kumo bows again.
"S-sorry, I shouldn't be so rude. I-I am greatly sorry, I... I meant.
I-I can... handle, myself. You need not... worry."
