They have to do stuff indirectly, alter perception or what their senses send to their brains for example. Functional Psionics would not only be novel, but relatively unheard of for Kitsune, I can think of maybe one who had that in recent history, and she was a Tsuki that came from a Yakko and a Fiend. The Fiendish side was the source of the psionics. Not something worked for."
