From beneath Alaric, Dimitri tries to fire off another shot.

Alaric tackles Dimitri to the ground. Nina stands between Dimitri and David. "What the hell David? You know that you can't do that! And it would count as self defense if he shot you now!"

"He needed a lesson in respect."

She seems speechless at the stupidity of the statement, before continuing. "You might have been able to justify decking him, but SHOOTING HIM?!" She dodges the lightning. "That had better not kill him..."

There is very audible running from upstairs. Gunshots are not silent.

"It shouldn't... If he can defend himself."

Kiri has sat down by this point and is eating some foxfire.

From beneath Alaric, Dimitri tries to fire off another shot.

Alaric puts down his knee on Dimitri's hand, but the shot still fires, although it goes wide. The running gets faster. "Damnit guys, Tessa is still in the building!" He kicks Dimitri once more for good measure, and then runs into the hall, evidently trying to stall Tessa.

David sidesteps the lightning.
"He's just being a pussy. If he needs to he can just go down to the nurse. If he's going to try and be racist he should learn to handle pain."

Nina glances over. "Take it to the pocket dimension room, before you draw every normal on campus!"

Corentine continues to blast him while walking forward, toward him.

David was in the middle of putting away his gun when he gets hit by lightning. He promptly falls over after a bit of being shocked.
