Well my family tries to stay as secluded and away from normal human society as possible so no one I know would know what it was or that it existed. No one has ever used the TV we have at our house before so I guess i'm pretty ignorant about the world outside of my home.

If Matt looked over at the door as Fred poked his head in. Fred would initially appear somewhat Odd before flickering and appearing as a normal person. Very possibly a hallucination.
