Like I said, mundane field trips can happen too. Niagra Falls, for example, could be one.

Well, the Choose Your Own Adventure book could be enchanted.
So when you open it up, the book starts to drag you in, and then you walk around the book's landscape and do your own adventure.

Though I think I've seen that a thousand other places.
