All you need to know right now about Selina is she can independently focus on 3 things that would normally conflict against taking attention. Ex: Listening to one person, listening to another person, and speaking to a third while still comprehending all of whats going on. She can also phase through objects, but is able to solidify more fully if needed. Her whole form will slowly tint a color based on emotion, generally just looking like a rather pale person when happy or neutral.

She also can change clothing, but only her current clothes can really phase through things with her.

The teacher isn't really doing much in the Magic class. The teacher prolly could help Kiri teach Kumo how to foxfire, but Kiri seems to have it handled.

I'd assume magic 101 is like a science class, as in you don't get to learn how to burn stuff to death straight away, you just learn the rules of magic.
