All anecdotal evidence I can find suggests that basing one's expectations of Japan off anime produces bad results 12/13 times.

i'm not an expert on japan itself, though I know a bit about tokyo? Shibuya has a lot of shopping and fashion stuff, so if nothing else you could do the dress part.

The issue is I'm kinda not <.<

I know what I've picked up from various places, such as certain places in downtown tokyo being full of fashion shops and such, as well as being a sort of... fashion center of the country.

I know there's a lot of shopping of every kind over in Shibuya, but I don't know about landmarks, specific places, or anything like that.
