So enemies see four tiles in the direction they're facing and the cardinal tiles right next to them. They can turn and walk, or walk in the direction they're already facing and then turn.

If we're spotted or engage in combat at all, we get spotted, even if we shank them in one phase.

Just go for it, I think. Can't really plan a path.

They do have a preset path and I can promise no one will see Dar on the first turn.

Also:
Pillars block LoS and people standing on pillars cannot be seen

Also they only move in straight lines

That sounds like it could go badly if the route isn't set. Or if our NPC doesn't go along with it.

That includes if he walks past you ftr. So if you're next to a square he passes through, he'll see you and stop. Unless pillars

Okay, let's assume for the purposes of our movement that the soldiers will move their full range in the direction that they are facing during the PP, and that at the end of their move, they will not turn 180 degrees. I feel confident that we can work this out and move through without getting caught, if we try.
