No progress. I just got back from a week-long vacation and I promised myself I'd finish up an older project before I continue this one. But don't worry, I've kept a Chrome tab open on this topic as a reminder that there's still work to be done.

But really, aside from the plants and temporary building overrides there isn't much I can do until mifki adds proper workshop support to TWBT. Oh, and if anyone is interested in the latter, here are the temporary building overrides:

Paste that into your overrides.txt and most of the item-based buildings will have a graphic.

EDIT:

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I still need to lessen the number of tile sheets so that GemSet won't crash people's computers. XD

You have an outdated information:) I'm finishing first test version of DF Remote for iOS and then I'll have some time to work on this. Hate to have many ongoing projects at the same time.

Heh. I know where you're coming from. Thankfully, once my Don't Starve project is done I'll have more time for GemSet. Any information on how the workshop overrides will work? Will tiles be individually colorized or not? Will they use the 16-color Windows palette or your material-based colors? Will they have layers? If so, can they be individually colorized?

I've been hesitant to start drawing the workshop overrides because I'm not sure how TWBT will handle them.

Yup. Those are the same overrides. I'll be including them as-is in the next release as a temporary fix.

My beds dont look like beds. Is there something wrong here? I'm did a fresh install of the starter pack and replaced the old gemset with the latest one.

Was a pm response, but cross-posting for reasons.
I've been stalking this thread for some time, and given to the lack of my IT knowledge I am unsure about one feature of this tileset: Will this tileset enable clothings, items, and maybe even visual statuses (bloddified clothes, scars etc.) to be addable ? And if so, this is currently the first mod that has this, right ?
When I said about blood I had something like IVAN in mind.

EDIT: I forgot to add this question: If there is such a feature how exactly is it named ? Multiple layer tileset ?
That would require a few things which aren't supported currently, as the engine would need to be able to determine which tile to display at which time, check regularly to make sure it updates properly, handle moving all the layers together for every displayed unit, and numerous other issues I'm not even sure of but which no doubt exist.

It might (MIGHT) be possible to have the flashing wound type indicators replaced with something that mimics a bloodied dwarf tile or something and raise the flash speed but I have no idea how that would best be done, so I'm actually gonna post this response in the thread too because I'm curious now.

Building overrides aren't in yet (and furniture that's placed down, as opposed to being in a stockpile etc., is considered "buildings").

So I was talking to Japa in irc and he was wondering if any artists would be interested in playing with the texture maps he's going to have the next version of Armok Vision using instead of the big psd files it has now. Figured I'd toss a heads up, think he's gonna put a post up in this sub forum when he has the version ready to push as well.

The assets and colours are gorgeous, but the black background isn't really my thing. I hope someone makes a remixed version with the same style but without the black

In the Text will be Text folder are three versions of 40.24 with r1, r2, or r3 at the end of the name. Which do I use and where do I place them? Where do I place graphics images, shadow.png, curses_800x600.png, and Spacefox_16x16_text.png? The readme doesn't explain how to install any of this. TWBT isn't on the forum or I would ask there. Thanks, folks!

Yeah, r1 and r2 shouldn't even be there. You need r3 most likely. You install all .dll files into DF\hack\plugins folder. And if you're installing GemSet, you don't need anything else from the TWBT package, because GemSet package contains everything.

Thanks, folks! Works great! I forgot to ask what the BAMM! folder is, the one with all the creature raws. Do I need that?
