Just an idea to speed up the carnage. For every x amount of points into Pool or Potency, you get a +1 to the amount that Pool recharges when completely depleted. I feel like that is the longest wait currently.

Or, y'know, you could just not drain your entire pool into one spell.  I figure that the current system of punishing you for big spells is intentional--It lets you get a stronger spell for a desperate situation, like when someone's about to kill you, but in trade you're weakened afterward.  That's an interesting and unique dynamic.

The bodies don't have anything on them. Well, at least nothing I think you'd want. Just the ropes around their necks, the bags on their heads and the loose hemp clothing they're wearing.

Tell the bird to guard the entrances, hide behind a rock again.

The bird squawks and lumbers over to the mid point between the three ground level entrances while you hide behind a rock.

Go kill DoctorMcTaalik and get his point.

If that fails, say "Enhance(3) Mercury" while focusing on my mutable knife.

You climb up into the zen garden room, but the instant you poke your head up, the featherless hawk is all over you snapping and clawing and generally making your life difficult. It manages to kick you straight back down the ladder and you splatter into a puddle at the bottom. It takes you the rest of the turn to reform.

Yeah, keep hiding, wait for pool to recharge.

Hiding continues.
