May I have a spot on the waitlist? I know I'm the exact opposite of a Bay12 veteran, but I've been reading old perplexicons for a while now, and would jump at the chance to play this game.
My character is done, but I'd like to ask a few questions about the new rules before I put the finishing touches on my wordlist.
Is the word "Summon" necessary to create a physical object, or is it simply an easy way to duplicate our creations?
Is full-body a permanent exception to the "no compound words" rule?
Can you add points to memory after character creation?
Do you round decimals up or down when choosing from your victims' word lists?
What's the consequence for trying to increase Will?
Are there rolls to resist forced transformations?
What would happen if you put more power into a targeting word?
It's not needed, just saying "Knife" will be enough to summon a knife.
Full-body is one word. It's not so much an exception as just a compound word.
Yes, by killing others you get points to put into anything, HOWEVER, increasing your memory doesn't cause you to suddenly learn more words. You would have to acquire words via murder.
Round up. You can take up to 25% of their list, but it's dependent on your memory. You can't have more words then your memory would allow, but you can forget words and replace them with other ones.

If Egan attacks me again, toss his ass via 1 pool spent in Str for supercharge over the ledge. Otherwise, head to the fourth floor and recharge "Target."
"Short-Range Gun"! Pick it up and keep coming after him! If it's loaded, try to shoot him a few times!
"Gosdamn magic doesn't even work!"

Close my eyes and yell 'Incomprehensible' to Thrakor.
Go up the stairs to L4 and jump off the ledge there.
Squee extends one hand while running and shouts his words. Something that looks like a sawnoff shotgun crossed with a miniture cannon materializes flashes into existence in his grip. He levels it at Thrakor while still running and fires. A shotgun spray of marble sized steel balls explodes out of the gun with enough force to knock squee on his ass and blow the gun into the magical abyss in a burst of flame and sparkling light. Both Thrakor and Lurking wizard see the shot coming, but both fail to dodge the cloud of oversized buckshot. Thrakor, by shear stupid luck, is only grazed by a few pellets. Lurking Wizard catches a pellet in the right leg and another in the right arm; the first blows out a chunk of muscle and the second practically takes his arm of, leaving a bone-shattered crater in his upper arm.
Lurking Wizard collapses to the ground but keeps his eyes focused on Thrakor and speaks his word. As he does, Thrakor grits his teeth and his muscles suddenly swell, standing out bulbous and cherry red under his skin. The instant Lurking Wizard's words are complete Thrakor's body becomes an unintelligible mass of smeared images, repeating textures of skin and eyes and teeth and limbs. His outline, vaguely humanoid, is still visible but all matter within it is a swirly, incomprehensible glitch in reality. The mass reaches out with one distorted limb and wraps a mass of overlapping eyes around Lurking Wizard's neck. It lifts Lurking Wizard into the air and hurls him off the edge. Or at least in the direction of the edge. His body instead flies straight across the pit, skips off the top of the gazebo and then slams into the far wall. The body vanishes a second later, leaving nothing but a blood smear behind.
Thrakor's incomprehensible shape dissipates, replaced by a more normal one as lurking wizard's magic vanishes.
Thrakor gains a point and can chose up to 5 words off this list to take as his own. Keep in mind, unless you spend that point on memory, you'll need to forget words you already have. However, new words come in precharged

A suit of full-body armor, like a thick exoskeleton, fleshy and formfitting on the inside but covered in hard insectoid carapace on the outside, forms forms around you.
According to my records, Beirus is now up. Still needs to send me a word list though, so he'll spawn in as soon as he does that. He'll be spawning on the 4th floor.
