"Now that's using the old noggin' there, Dr. No, in more ways than one. Though recall that one's horrible memories depend on cultural context as well, though these hairy tentacles seem nebbish enough to probably be affected by a whole lot of things unusually."

"We could ask it nicely to leave, no?" the strongman speaks in a serious manner, "These creatures don't seem like the bloodthirsty animals they are made out to be. Besides we outnumber it by far"

"Well, you've given me an idea. Back me up if this fails."

No focuses his gaze upon the alien, burning his essences. The alien thinks odd thoughts- definitely not the norm for his species. Oh wait, he's human, right?

((Alien believes that it is human.))

"Blast, my eyes hurt. I hope I don't need to do that again."

"Freezing's harmless. To these guys, anyway. The cold makes them fall unconscious, until their nuclear hearts warm them up again."

((No does his thing))

"Unaffected, looks like. I think it knows what we're up to. It might have called for a localized increase in the dampening field, so we're going to have to open up that tube to do anything with magic. Do you have any more ready?"

"Odd, that should have worked. Generally more mundane spells require less power to work."

No burns his remaining essences, rapidly withering the alien's muscles.

The cone is still unaffected.

"Dampening field! Wait until I open it! Got any more of those? We may be running out of time here, so I'm going to open this real soon."

"I'm out. I'll make a few more, as long as I make them in pulses of three or less it shouldn't have side effects unless I'm unlucky."

No focuses his will, making essences.

The strongman lets out a hearty chuckle, after adjusting the rider atop him he speaks, "It seems that your pow-wow isn't as much as strong as you say! Whatever you are planning to do let us get over with it soon. This place unnerves me."

"Here we go..." He stabs the device onto the side of the tobe, and it begins dilating open.

it begins dilating open.

: "At last! Finally! Thank you for coming!"

Introducing, Jennifer, a charming British woman with platinum blonde hair, wearing soft leather over-the-knee boots, a flowered top hat and aviator goggles, with a mini-jacket over a corset and an ankle length burlesque Victorian bustle skirt that's open to the thighs in front and goes down to the ankles in back in a way that almost makes it look like a cape. She seems a bit daft.

: "You are the wait staff aren't you? The tea has gone atrociously cold. Do be a dear and fetch me a new kettle, would you?"

Marvelously well dressed, but daft.

The strongman, not usually one to mince words pops his head, and thus the old man atop's as well, into the well furnished room, "No, I don't think so, we've come to rescue you." he says in the thick-accented and broken English that dominate his speech.
