[Unraveller]

Axel darts his eyes around, almost half of the others are still in some sort of shock, barely able to keep it together. "It would seem we are backed into de corner." the muscled man stands to attention, entering into a fighting stance. "I dunno how I could ever dream of these things."

With a single slice across his arm, Sheotl called upon spirits of war to aid him in his plight.

"By old pacts made, I call for your aid; spirit of skirmish, come and delay!"

And as the ancient chant was spoken, his offered blood curdled, turning green and blue. The clumps danced and gathered, rumbling incomprehensible whispers. In his mind Sheotl heard the world clearly. Offer accepted, Hatcuri.

The blood curds span and span, floating in the air of the prison, dizzying to the eye. It was taking too long; Sheotl hated the waiting. This is always why he had a few meatshields with him.

Thankfully, the spirits turned up early this time. The blood clumps stopped in midair, splattering the room and all those around. From where it spun rised three warriors wearing inscribed suits of bronze and blades of steel. They charged.

"They'll hold for now. Quickly, we must go!"

Meanwhile, the bear seems to still be asleep. It seems to have part of a red, porcelain cone in it's mouth.

It stirs, pulling itself off the ground.
"What in.....blazes...."

[SOLDIER First]

Fune quickly whizzes over to the bear, untouched by the blood thanks to her Traveler meatshield

"Hey, listen! There's no time to explain! That man is getting us away from those things, but we have to hurry!"

[WillowLuman]

The white floor seemed to cling to them, strands of marble wrapped around their forms. "Florck, the dampening field! But that should distract them for a bit!"

Symbols appear in the air in front of the cones, and various colors of electric-like arcs discharge out of them at the warriors.

"Got it!" The stranger throws something out of his bag, which embeds in a different wall. The hole it makes dilates, and he looks at the bear. "Run!"

The bear looks at his surroundings, blinking. He doesn't seem to be fully awake yet- indeed, apart from whatever ungodly garbage he's been covered in, his breath stinks of alcohol.

"Grah....this had better be some sort of dream. Blasted mouldy mead...."
Diving onto all fours, the bear lumbers towards the hole drunkenly, stumbling slightly.

[Unraveller]

"Magic? Talking bear? This is certainly a dream, or is it a nightmare?" Axel looks on as the group of strange arcane warriors hold back the cone-like scourge. "Oh, it can't be helped" he mutters edging ever so slowly away from the creatures. "You! Wait for me!" He shouts, sprinting through this undulating doorway.

[SOLDIER First]

Fune flits around between the others before zooming through the hole.

[Unraveller]

Shortly after leaving the strongman returns to the room in which they were imprisoned. Lifting the older looking man over his shoulders. Seemingly human, and still in some state of shock. "Cannot leave 'im behind after all!" He shouts, returning through the threshold.

((I was unaware, please forgive me))

[WillowLuman]

(LB's char has a different introduction.)

The man with the duffel bag pulls the gadget out of the wall after the others pass through, then throws it on the floor beneath them, dropping them into a white hallway. "There, that ought to lose them for a bit. Problem is, my ride's back up on that level. You all alright?"

"Currently fine. No damage."

[micelus]

"Bleeding. Not a problem though. What's our next move?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"I have a splitting headache, I smell like a brewery's dump and I think I'm probably on whatever people sniff to see ponies soaring through space, but apart from that, I'm positively GOLDEN."

[~Neri]

"Bleeding? Still? People don't bleed that long from tiny cuts. Gone within a few seconds."

[Unraveller]

"I've got my next move." Axel speaks confidently. "Bear -- er, one of you pinch me, so that I may wake. There are important things that must be done, I cannot stay in dreamland."
