With a final forceful push, the alien collapses onto the floor. No blinks rapidly.

"Blast, my vision's getting fuzzy. Anyway, let us observe the reactions of the aliens and the woman. We should be ready to run if necessary."

She starts at the sound of the his impact on the floor, then removes her hat and begins to fan him.

(Crap, I took a long time to get home, back to my computer, so much stuff happened!)

"What are you doing? They'll find us!" Doors open in the room below, and the aliens begin backing towards them, chittering. "They seem to be panicking..."

She starts at the sound of the his impact on the floor, then removes her hat and begins to fan him.
Two more of the strange hairy cones descend from the ceiling, one of them begins rising with the toppled one. "wE ARE soRRY foR THe frIGHt. dO NOt bE ALARmeD. DoO NoT WORry abouT THEM."

Koi switches through several visual formats across the EM spectrum to determine what material the wall is.
The wall seems to reflect every form of EM: that would explain its complete whiteness. You might expect such a material to be exceptionally echoey, but maybe this "dampening field" has some effect on sound waves?

Koi punches the wall. Hard. Similar force to the kind of impact a bowling ball dropped from a third story window would have. This obviously breaks his hand, most likely a few fractures in the wrist and knuckles, if the wall doesn't give. Likely about four minutes of healing. No material lost and everything more or less in place. If it does give then probably less damage. Reflective is different from absorptive. Absorptive requires very dense matter. Reflective can easily be paint.

Koi's fist rebounds off the wall with surprising force, yet minimal injury, though his hand stings a bit. The force of unexpected rebound probably causes him to stumble off-balance. "Oi! Careful! You don't want to become a superball!"

Fune gasps and flits over to Koi.
"Wow! Did you just punch the wall like it was nothing and not even get hurt? That's amazing! What did you say you were, again? Unless you didn't, I mean."

"I'm a KX9 64. Never stated. Also wall appears to repulse mass, as well as light. Normally should have multiple fractures in hand. Do not have said minor injury. Therefore wall is abnormal."

"Well are we all just going to mill about here? Or are we doing something?" The strongman feels far out of his element in such a place, he speaks forcefully to the group that seems to be without worry,"If we just stand around de cone heads from ealier will catch up, no?" He gazes about, seeing if there are any other exists in this odd area other than the hall from which they got here.

"The place is made of malleomatter. Pretty much the only spark of actual innovation these hacks have. Basically indestructible, this stuff, except for the crippling weakness of a big lynchpin somewhere that tells this whole place what shape it's supposed to be. And it can be hacked, with another, smaller lynchpin. Right, anyways, we should think of a way to get all the panicking ones down there out of the way, so we can deal with the ones in the tube and get that lady out. Savages..."

"You have a smaller lynchpin based off how you created the hole in the floor prior. Hack the floor below the ones down there and drop them to a lower floor."

"Ooh, I dunno if I can handle all this. You people are so strange." Axel speaks feebly, looking over to Cobb and gesturing his hands for some good old liquid courage. He chuckles and adds, "And know I'm trying to bum a drink from a bear in overalls".
"Lad, if I had any, ye wouldn't be getting it right about now."

"This thing can only affect about a 5-foot radius of surface area around it. Not enough for the whole room, and not something I can do from up here. But if we could get them to leave, I'd be able to open that room they're having that tea party in. Anyone got a way to cause some more panic?"
