CAN YOU RIDE BEARS?

I JUST TRADED FOR 8 BEARS AND NEED TO KNOW IF I CAN HAVE MY DWARVES RIDE THEM? SORRY FOR CAPS BUT BEARS!!!

Sir, firstly, calm thyself. Secondly, I do believe that thus far it is not possible to have thy dwarves have a bear cavalry, however tempting it may seem.

Dwarves do not ride squishy elf-products. They forge minecarts, chariots hewn under the heat of mountain-blood and driven by elaborate contraptions to speeds faster than any meatbag. It is said that the fastest can outrun a crossbow bolt. With these magnificent steel beasts of burden and cavalry, why worry about bears?

Wow. Eight bears in a row from the elves ? These elves have been very good.

No, your dwarves can't ride them. But put them all in a room. Soon you will have bear cubs, and you can train them into war bears and assign them to your military.

Mounts are planned, but our bear cavalry dreams will have to wait.

There is no riding in adventure mode either, is there?

I think it should be within the pervue of your animal trainers to equip warbears with weapons.

That is to say, they should have the right to arm bears.

Well I guess that's a prerequisite job for the weaponsmiths.  If they don't bear the weaponry, there wont be anything in the right size to arm the bears with.
