I have also decided to lower the discount on dodging for tiny gladiators to 10% I feel this is reasonable, I have not lowered the huge gladiators price however, as I feel that it is fine where it is.

Absolutely, I have a feeling that about half of the gladiators that participated here were from reddit.

Champions may not enter another tournament, that is, until sixteen champions have been made. At which point there will be held a grand tournament for greatest fighter in the universe!

After someone wins the grand tournament will they be able to return for the next grand tournament to try and defend the title? maybe turn it into a 3 way fight between the 2 finalists and the previous champ and whoever wins is the new champ? that is assuming people are interested in this long enough for that kind of thing to work which i hope they do, could be something nice to look forward to every month!

Well, I just read through the semi final and final matches, and I have to say, Hodekin completely surprised me. I thought the only reason he got his wins was because he fought Varick twice. I was almost certain that Bax would win, and was more afraid of his whips than of Hodekin's blade. I guess I underestimated the little guy!

Congrats to Mogwai and Hodekin for making the finals! That really was an exciting tournament!

Also, big thanks to Vityav for letting me do this first. It was a blast, and I hope he can join us next tournament.

Finally, can we all give a round of applause to Unraveller for making this happen? It really was a great little game, and I know he put a lot of effort into it!

Edit: I actually had an idea about whip pricing. I agree they need to be raised, but I would only raise them a bit, and instead make the cost of silver much higher. I think the biggest thing with blunt weapons is that silver, an incredible material for impact weapons, is very cheap. If the cost was raised to 3x, I think it might even it out a bit.

That is a very good idea, I hadn't even realized that silver was so low in price. I'll work it out with different balancing and such when I get home.
