If we need to spike the guns then a little termite is the answer, it'll safely melt the guns.

Hm. Alright. Sounds good.

Maybe we should try to build these in other places as well as Valencia. Is there any particular reason you chose Valencia in the first place?

Plus, these could probably work really well for coastal defense on our own shores.

There no particular reason for Valencia other than it being coastal, looking to the future Madrid is due a 3 year long siege   with the city partially surrounded, that should be a real test of the bunkers defences.

There probably need a bigger gun for coastal defence and maybe a direct Anti tank gun.
Right now the 'HiLo' Cannons cover long range, the 20mm AA guns are well the AA, and for keeping infantry back theres the Automatic Mortars and Machineguns.

We have the 86.7mm ATHM1933 anti-tank gun.

I'm not sure it's going to be worth it, since we'd probably need to dispatch at least a labour team to spain (which is then augmented with local volunteers). And we definitely need labour teams for the naval factory, for many more ammo factories and so on.

While we may not be able to build them now, we should definitely consider them in the future for key defensive positions on Plokhoy Ostrov in the case of an invasion.

Also, I'm sure the answer will be a No, but would Plokhoy Ostrov's climate be able to support silkworms? If not, would it be possible to build a specially designed climate controlled greenhouse for mulberry trees in which we set silkworms? Would the silk produced be of any significance? I'm asking because I read up a bit on bullet resistant materials and silk seemed to be very capable in that department. I was thinking of silk wrapped steel plates for vest insertions for extra stronkness.

Nope, Yes, and not really.

Just curious.

Alright, so here are the current proposals:

Designs:

D2:
Spoiler: Firestorm Interceptor (click to show/hide)
D3:
Spoiler: 105mm Artillery Cannon (click to show/hide)
D4:
Spoiler: D-RN-M1937 Naval Radar (click to show/hide)
D5:

Construction
C1: Continue the naval factory (with the drydock)
C2: Build a four-line ammo factory
C3: Build a four-line large arms factory
C4: Build a four-line infantry equipment factory
C5:
Spoiler: "Citadels of Valencia" (click to show/hide)

Acquisition

My only complaint with Funk's Iron Ox truck is that it'd be a bigger target, nonetheless, and that it may be too expensive to build many at once.

I feel that if we don't go for the Iron Ox but still want more supply throughput capabilities, we'll have to design an intermediate truck. I've been thinking along the lines of something like the Soviet ZIS-5:

Spoiler: ZIS-5 (click to show/hide)

As shown in the picture, it could also be used to tow artillery and such.

For front-line use, such a heavy truck is generally vulnerable (and can't compensate with numbers) and probably less off-road capable. Of course, a few dozen kilometers behind our lines, they should have an amazing throughput.

Or the GMC CCKW which, compared to the ZIS-5, is probably more expensive but more off-road capable.

Ready for stage one of votes?
We still need an industry assignment, especially for the LA-factory not given to Spain. Let me cook up a small-ish proposal:
F1: Retool Factory LA2 to produce M1932 40mmAAA Cannon and CA-AAA-M1935 guns.

Also, another proposal, since we are not producing enough engines for the POAC, and will probably need to produce more vehicles soon:
C6: Vehicle Production Complex:
One factory with four production lines for vehicular engines,
One factory with two production lines for vehicles.
Build 2/1 first, then add the other 2/1.

Spoiler: Voting List: (click to show/hide)

This, by the way, marks the first time we have three competing designs.

Would it be better to make the AT guns instead of the 40mm AA?

Would it be better to make the AT guns instead of the 40mm AA?

There are three cannons we currently have shortfalls of:
M1932 40mmAAA Cannon: -5.0
ATHM1933 [87.6mm AT gun]: -3.0
CA-AAA-M1935 [20mm AA gun]: -11.25
The 40mm AAA cannon is used on several ships and our AA defenses; the ATHM1933 is only used on the Shockwave FAC, and the 20mm gun is also used on several ships and our AA defenses. Basically, by not producing the ATHM1933, we underequip our Shockwave craft (at 2 cannons per craft). By not producing any of the others, we'd underequip our planes, AA defenses and also Shockwave craft (it's using 2 40mm AAA cannons).

That's why I prefer the 40mm AAA.

Buy more shotguns.

Spoiler: Voting List: (click to show/hide)

This, by the way, marks the first time we have three competing designs.
It's more three over laping designs, the Iron Ox is massive it can move alot of cargo and pull the heavy guns about, the POAC cargo is the go any where tansport, and the PO-1 truck is the small cheap transport, it can't go where the POAC C can or carry the same load as the Iron Ox.

I mean, what kind of shotguns are you intending for us to look for? Just shotguns in general? Whatever we can get our hands on? Shotguns believed to be the best of their kind?

I'll abstain from the More Shotguns vote until Funk gives some more details.

Also, Aseaheru, what factory type would the Facilitators need to be built in?

I assume that A1 means "Acquire more Winchester Shotguns", but until then, I'll abstain too.
And I assume that the factory type for Facilitators is "Equipment".
Voting for:
D1.2, D2, D3
C1, C2, C6,
A1: Abstain
F1: Yes
