Thank, Mr. Skeltal.
Aseaheru also wants more details in regards to the shotguns. I guess we could try and go for some American pump-action ones. I'd suggest the 12 gauge variants of the
Winchester Model 1912.

Designs
----------------------
D1 Fire storm interceptor
All metal mono plane, with an enclosed cockpit, an engine mounted to the rear of pilot and linked to a pusher prop.
Armour: 8mm of nickel-molybdenum steel plate around the cockpit.
13 mm plate of nickel-molybdenum steel on the back of the seat.
2mm fire wall between the pilot and the fuel tanks.
Weapons: 4x M-1 Machineguns in wing roots with 500 belts rounds per gun.
4 X 20mm cannons in the nose with 60 round drums
Engine: 2 x "Hurricane" aero engine 1500HP
Crew: 1 pilot
Wingspan: 9 m
Length: 11 m
Empty weight: 3225 kg
edit
The Pilot's seat should have an oxygen feed line for his mask.
D2 Splinter Vest
A light suit of armour built only to protect against fragments.
It is made from multiple plates of thin 1 mm manganes steel and held together with interconnected webbing straps and buckles.
Plates cover the centre of the chest over the heart and lungs, a second lower plate covers the groin.
A rear plate on the lower back covers the liver, base of the lungs and with an upwards projection the base of the spinal column.
The Design is explicitly told not to attempt making this in anyway bullet proof
D3.1 Redesign POAC system to make various varients, including Command vehicles, Mortar carriers, Tank destroyers, supply vehicles, etc. Add radios to all varients.
-ColeslawD3.2 Redesign POAC system to include only radios.
D4 Redesign of all vehicles to allow use of MM1934 instead of MM1911 in internal mounts (T-18, Baklan)
-ColeslawD5 RADAR system
Our first radar. Uses a rotating antenna (5rpm) to fix both sea and air targets. The range goal is about 50-150km for planes (dependant on altitude and size) and about 40kms for surface targets. Since it's a search radar, accuracy is not that important, with a goal of about 100 meters. Keeping the weight under two tons should be doable.
D6 Attempt to fix the current interceptor's problems
belt feeding cannons
Redesign the engine's air intake to fit a two-stage supercharger, improve efficiency and saving engine power.
Add better cooling, some big air-to-liquid intercoolers should cool down the intake air.
Still this will add weight and drag.
Add nitrous oxide or methanol-water injection
Add turbochargers and make the engine twincharged
-ColeslawD7 Frigate
Mass-produceable frigate. Mounts a D4 radar and a hydrophone (plus radio, of course), two of the destroyer's HiLo turrets, four 40mm AAA pieces, and ten 20mm AAA guns. Leave space for an anti-sub rocket projector. Aim for a mass of about 1500t. Uses our AEM M1932 motor for propulsion, with a target speed of about 24 knots (using four motors, probably).
D8 Anti-Submarine Rocket Projector
An anti-submarine rocket system.
The complete system consists of a launcher base mounting 24 rockets on guidance rails. On firing command, these rockets are fired automatically in a ripple, landing on a fixed point, with a fixed scatter, about 200-300 meters in front of the firing vessel.
Each rocket consists of a propulsion unit, a warhead of 15-20kg and a detonator. This detonator is armed after firing when heading through the ocean surface, and detonates on contact.
Construct
----------------------
C1: Place 40mm AA and HiLo guns in and around our industrial complex in the event of an airborne attack.
-ColeslawC2: One two-Line Munitions Factory at factory complex
C3: One two-line Large Arms Factory at factory complex
C3.1: Two two-line Large Arms Factories at factory complex
-ColeslawC4: Radar stations located at mountan peaks (requires D5)
C5: Naval drydock factory
A factory for mass-producing D5 Frigates. Includes a drydock large enough for it, and a linked factory. Also part of factory complex
-ColeslawAcquire
----------------------
A1: Acquire sea mines for development of our own. (details would be nice)
-ColeslawA2: 12 gauge shotguns.(details would be nice. Really nice)
-ColeslawOther
(Vote yes or no to these)
F1: Coleslaw's factory plan
-ColeslawF2: Use MM1934s instead of MM1911s where possible in vehicles.
-ColeslawF3: Funk's uniform mods (SM1911/34 + 3 7rd mags for all)
-ColeslawF4: Coleslaw's Uniform mods (Which appear to be for generic naval crew in two varients, and an aircrew varient)
(Also, a comment on these. Most ships have standard soldiers on them. Atleast, most non-sub vessels)
