Welcome to the small nation of Plokhoy Ostrov
Ah, it's good to be back. I still remember that one time we were attacked by aliens. Although I guess, that is, strictly speaking, 40 years in the future, so I can't "remember" it. (tldr: PTW)

As long as the ammount of water displaced is greater than the weight of an object, the object will float.

It's perfecty posible to build boats out of concrete.

We have rocks.

Create boats with hulls of ferro-concrete.

Non ferro-concrete is to fragile.

Of course. These are the small boats. Bigger' more powerfull boats should be sturdy steel.

First of all, ferro-concrete is not "rocks", aside from requiring concrete (made out of rocks, yes, but unless you want to set up a barter scheme with a cement factory, that isn't much help) we'd still need a bunch of steel for it. I'm not sure which is harder to make- sheet steel or mesh steel (probably mesh, though we'll need much less of it), but I do know FC will have lower strength, and our boats might see combat one day. We could also make wooden boats, but I don't think it's wise for the same reasons.

It may be good to note that currently you are all in the stage of voting on actions for the second half of 1932. Funk has been the only voter thus far. Afterwards you need to assign workers, and then I get to write up the turn.

then you all get to suggest designs for the first half of 1933!

Oh. When did we switch phases?
My votes (we each get six though?):

1:Develop smaller Boiler and Turbine for 250-500 ton ships based on Vulkan/AEG designs.
Alpha

3:AEM 1932
and
4:Mk1 Mortar Carrier
(they're meant to be a set)

You get to vote for three numbers and three Greek letters.
The switch was 3 days ago.

The switch was 3 days ago.
It seemed random, and so does the waiting. Let's figure out a schedule or something.

Below is the list of current proposals and votes, lettered or numbered to show grouping:

1:Develop smaller Boiler and Turbine for 250-500 ton ships based on Vulkan/AEG designs.
 A1s

Alpha:Build larger workshop dedicated to small arms production.
 Funk

2:Develop anti aircraft gun based on the 40mm AA cannon on the Orfey class destroyer, for now it will be a stationary platform.
 Funk

3:AEM 1932
 Funk, A1s

4:Mk1 Mortar Carrier
 A1s

5:Mk1 Fighter

The switch was due to the only person saying they still had proposals(Funk) finishing submitting them(Mk1Fighter). There is a schedule, which is when everyone is done, or a week has passed, it goes forward a step. As for everyone voting, where did endlessblaze, Voidslayer and Arkitekt go?

Before I spend roughly an hour writing up a turn (after skipping the vote on personnel allocation), is there still interest in this, or shall I use this to throw ideas about for yet another variant of the weapon design game idea?

If I can offer a suggestion, don't wait for people. I know it sounds paradoxical, but if they miss something good, they only have themselves to blame (go easy on them though, for the first few times). Whereas if they lose interest due to a 1 turn/month resulting schedule it's kinda a bit your fault.
If you're worried people will ragequit- don't. This is a suggestion game and there will be new people joining for the first 5-10 pages, it's likely some of them will prefer a faster paced style.

Do you need a tie breaker? If not then you can ignore these votes.

1:Develop smaller Boiler and Turbine for 250-500 ton ships based on Vulkan/AEG designs.
2:Develop anti aircraft gun based on the 40mm AA cannon on the Orfey class destroyer, for now it will be a stationary platform.
3:AEM 1932

Allright, so, real quick vote, the first person to vote decides it.

Shall you all vote on who works on what project or shall I do that for you, inorder to get the first real turn out quicker?
