For the record, I have metaphorical money on them not having slept together. It's probably something like a massage or something.

by the by there are over 1600 strips

And to the creator's credit... The start of the series feels like the end of the series...

In fact you could have had the first two stripes, and then a third made up stripe, then lead into the last two... and nothing would be odd about it.

No, not really. I tried to do that, and it made no sense.

It plays off the general idea of most DnD'ers use a location as their homebase to work from.

It was pretty obvious they just talked and nothing occured and Ardon is just fucking with Odivallus.

Also, I want the "Hes unlocking my face" T shirt.

Okay, much further in, and it does indeed deepen.

Yeah, I haven't seen many instances of text where you can really hear the sheer agonized stupefaction loaded into the words, "HE'S UNLOCKING MEEEE!!!" It's like an ur-wail embodied in size 4 font. Or whatever the font size on that thing is. It's pretty amazing regardless.

Also yes, there were four es and three exclamation marks. I checked.

If that occurred in any RPG group, that would be the stuff of legends.

The one on 2013-03-14, according to the .png I have in my pictures folder. Too lazy to actually find a link to it.

Without context that sounds like a badly translated line from an eroge.

... no, not badly translated, now that I actually think along those lines. There's this one doujin that has anthromophized doorknobs...

Thanks for telling us about this. It's a fun webcomic and I'd somehow never heard of it before until I saw the thread here.
