Not actually hearing what Eric said but assuming it's something dumb, Alix cups their hands around their mouth and yells, "Shut up, Eric!"

Anita and Stock start shouting over each other. He silences them, again. "The one in question is a soldier, are they not?" he noticeably uses "they", as a middle ground between "him" and "it". "But they have not joined a corps. Therefore, it is the Tribunal's decision where they go. You will present your cases, and the supreme commander will make final judgment. That is fair to all. Understood?"

"Why do you think he does that?"
