"What happened to you?"

"Shot. By this guy, actually." Maria kicks him in the side (with her uninjured leg, of course)."Hopefully we can have a nice little chat with him once he comes to."

Alice is now walking back to the group. She's as white as a sheet, and looks like she's about to puke. "Y-You guys need t-to see this..." she says, motioning towards the basement.

"Let me guess. All the scientists are dead, there's blood on the walls and body parts strewn all over the floor."

Reinhard goes into the basement.

Alexander would attempt to punch Eric in the face. He was enraged at the constant verbal harassment and statements that he wasn't human."Shut up!"

Nikita stares at Alexander briefly.
"Your anger towards him is as much a liability as his.....undesirable comments. Unjustified though they may be."

C'mon, let's hurry up and check it out, whatever it is."

Alice leads whoever follows down to the basement.

The sight is... not pretty, to say the least. As Reinhard had guessed, there was blood covering the walls and corpses were strewn about the floor. There was a horrific stench in the air, but whether it was the blood or the corpses is impossible to tell. On the wall was a distinct marking in blood: the same as the tattoo the men who had attacked all had.

There was a bit of movement in a crate below it.

Tobias stares at the crate.
"Well, we either open it, or burn it... Who volunteers to open it?"

"Eh, I'll do it."

Reinhard examines the crate and opens it.

Inside is a man wearing a white lab coat. "Don't kill me man!" he shouts, cringing away.

"Calm down, we got rid of the intruders. Nice to see that at least one of you survived."

Help the science man out of the crate.
