Dwarf Fortress 0.27.169.33a Released

Changes

Various crash and lag fixes.  There are still lags and crashes, but many of the major offenders have been handled now.  There were also several minor fixes.  See the dev log for those.

I hope this works...  anyway, saves from the previous version released a few days ago are compatible, so go ahead and use them.  There might be a pause as it cleans up some debris that was causing the sky/underground lag, but that'll be a one time thing.

Let me know if this blows up everything so I can fix it.
but I'm going to bed now

You know, Toady, if you just turned off your computer and went on vacation for a week, nothing dire would happen. You deserve a break.

Is this .33a version compatible with .32a saves?

Tomas asked Dolgan, "What place is this?"
The dwarf puffed on his pipe. "It is a glory hole, laddie. When my people mined this area, we fashioned many such areas."

Awesome. 100fps underground now instead of 25. No more two-hour seasons.  :D

You're thinking sessions. I meant seasons - as in going from spring to summer was about two hours.  :p

On the wall is an engraving of a human and humans in obsidian. The human is raising the new version of Dwarf Fortress. The humans are rejoicing.

On the floor is an engraving of bugs in granite. The bugs are withering.

Thank you, Toady! Enjoy your break! =)
