Description: A human who throughout his life has fought with others on many occasions, improving his combat skills which then increased his reliance on using them for a living.

Eventually bought himself a suit of power armour to decrease the amount of time he spent in the medbay and grant him near-full access to jobs in low-tech worlds considering the weaponry used there. The constant use of his armour led to him being dubbed with the nickname "Knight", a name which he took gladly.

Was offered a deal by a KX9 ship to be part of an experiment where he would gain certain abilities and in exchange would be monitored to see how the experiment went. during the experiment [REDACTED]. Eventually, after wandering for a time, he ended up on board the station Sanctuary.

Augments/bioaugments:
Weapon Assimilation. Can turn anything he can identify as a weapon into "his" weapon, increasing its durability and damage by infusing it with experimental "psionites" that directly connect with his brain. Hammers, guns, rebar, pokers, artillery, etc. can be assimilated. Time taken to assimilate something depends on the weapon's size and other factors. A gun would be near-instant, a tank would take a few seconds, a soul-bound weapon would take about 30 seconds, etc. The effect wears off quickly once the weapon is out of Knight's possession. While a tank can be identified as a weapon and be assimilated, a bike is not and thus cannot, unless the bike is physically picked up and used to bludgeon someone.
Weapon Mastery. Gain (+/-8 Weapon Mastery optional used bonus) to anything affected by Weapon Assimilation (see above) while it's in effect by having the psionites transmit the weapon's properties to the brain and slightly altering the brain to most efficiently use it.

If I made the armour black and gave it a red visor, would I get a +2 intimidation bonus?

I don't really think an intimidation bonus would do much due to the difficulty with speech your character has. Intimidation is more or less a modifier for certain charisma rolls.

Speech isn't really required for intimidation, though. Personally, I'd be very afraid of the big guy clad in black armour with the demonic visage who only speaks in screams and has a known problem with beating anything that angers it. I'd probably give it my sweet roll if he gestured to it.

Go ahead and add Mathias to the OP. I might yet make some minor changes, but expect nothing dramatic.

Yes, spidersilk is really, really strong for armour. A vest thin enough to wear under clothing could surely block modern anti-personnel bullets, though the blunt force of them would still be felt, spread around a larger area. I hear a 9mm on a kevlar vest feels like a baseball bat. Adding some hard plates to the vest would alleviate the problem, but it would be too encumbering and sketchy for civilian usage..
