The robes are very comfortable. They feel almost natural.
The buckler is rather beaten up, it's definatly seen better days but it is still in working condition.
I sheathing the sword you find that it is old and patenaed (aged rust stuff), the blade has a few nicks in it but is still pretty sharp. Not a terrible starting set of equipment. Much better than the rust hunting knife and terrible clothes.

(Just to clarify- you are wearing off white monk-ish robes, a leather satchel over your shoulder, a sheathed sword on your waist, and a buckler in your left hand)
You go back up stairs and the old man is reading a large tome that looks similar to the stack of tomes on his desk. You ask about demons to fight and he looks up,¨Well this town is still recovering from an attack a year or so ago, we do not have the man power to... Well you wouldn't know what happened. About a year ago a cultist group set a plague on our old city. Then demons overran our already weakened town. We fled and came to this ghost town, now a safe haven from the demons. We haven't had the man power to take back our old town but you may be able to help with your strength and power against demons. The old town is about a half mile to the east on the Quarter Pine road. You will want to kill the demonic leaders there, which will hopefully stop the plague and kill the zombies, you will also want to retrieve and close two demonic tomes that are being used by the demons there.¨

You nod to the old man's story and make your way for the old town.
It's a nice walk on the old road. It seems to be in a bit of disrepair from a year of no use, potholes and grass growing in the stone pavings.
When you get to the old town there is a light red aura around the town and a red black barrier in the road that separates the road from the town edge. There are zombies walking around the old town. The aura seems to be emanating from a black chapel with a flaming cross.

Unsheath our sword and walk over to the chapel. Attack any zombies that try to stop us.

[Cryxis, Prince of Doom]

You unsheathe your blade and wade in through the barrier. As you pass through the red veil your scars glow bright white and you can feel a weight of pain lifted from your shoulders. You have gained new strength.

A couple zombies notice you but you dispatch them with ease. As you make your way to the chapel a few scamps attempt to attack you but you put them down too. You are now outside the doors to the black chapel

Quietly crack open the door a bit and peek inside.

You crack open the door as slowly as you can but the door is old and the hinges rusted. It makes an unholy squealing noise as the door pushes forward, your sure for a split second your heart stopped. Inside you see at least 8 lower demons (scamps and the such) and one large demon standing where the alter once was with a large tome open in his hands. It glows an eerie red and black. The demon speaks from the book in a chanting manner, the other demons are chanting along. The words are definitly in demonic tongue. The two demons in the farthest back pews have turned around and noticed you.

Try to quiwtly open the door and get over to the demons in the back row. Then see if we can kill them before the others notice us.

You decide the quietest way to open the door is to open it quickly. You thow the door open and it makes only one creak. The two demons seem surprised you didn't run or open the doer slowly and you are able to kill one before the other reacts. The second let's out a scream as you cut it's head in half.

6 demons get up and see you. The leader is still chanting from his tome.

Prepare for battle! Attack! try to face them one or two at a time instead of all at once if possible.

You go into a state of extreme focus and are able to sprint forward and kill another demon before the others move. The one closets to you attempt to swing his dagger at you but you block with the buckler and knock the blade out of it's hands. The demon is wide open and you stab it in the chest killing it. The next two closest attempt to attack you but you trip one, block the other's attack, stab the one on the ground and hack the one standing down.
The last two stand with two daggers each. They are defending the leader at the alter.
You charge up throwing one to the ground and sinking your blade into the other, you fall to the floor with the one you tackled. Your blade is in the other demon and out of your hands, you take one of the daggers dropped and begin stabbing the last lowly demon to death. You retrieve your sword and step back.

The greater demon finished his chant, four skeleton warriors appear and a spirit long sword appears in his hands where the tome once was.
