Keep in a defensive stance as I approach, watching it's movements.

Got slightly occupied; expect update slightly later today. I'll try to keep two updates per day, but there is no guarantee. Heh.

Demonic Spoon, Sense roll was for Bones not to discard his shield in anger. Well, he did, yet he can still take it from the ground if he wants so

With the concept of bonuses in play, there is no way for such a low roll to do damage. It's reasonable to expect good damage starting from 8. Or little damage starting from 6.

Science is always important. But it needs more flaming cats. Can't we build bridge-based catapults and fling flaming cats at the dust and goo?

It's time for the ATHATH Death Counter to increase once more in celebration for the end of the world.

Labyrinth

Crimson. Lizardman relaxes his stance slightly.
"Ah, good to see that you have proper manners. I'm Liros, quite an elderly monk... Khm. Shall we continue?"

Inael. Well, you do find something after some time of fruitless search. In the center of yet another crossroad stands a great steel obelisk, its sides covered in letters. You can't seem to decipher them. Saying that, they don't seem like a proper language at all. Some form of code? Crypted images? Nothing of importance?

Sukro. After quite a bit of waiting, unicorn finally snorts and gallops into distance. Good riddance!

Derek. Carefully, as not to disturb the beast, you walk away. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to follow you, content with its current meal. Though you wonder if you should run further - a great expanse of orange crystals occupies the latter half of the current corridor. Warm wind blows against your face.

Urist. Salamander hisses angrily at your approach and starts to heat up, its body covering with liquid fire. Uh-oh. You need to finish this encounter as soon as possible, before it tries to roast you.

Arena

Bones was adamant on throwing stuff into demidragon, as if his first try didn't give him enough of a lesson. This time, the disastrous thing happens: sharp sword sinks into giant's own feet while he roars in pain, his muscles sore from continuos throwing.

This gives Pyro some time to put distance between them - yet, not enough to truly gain advantage.

Bones: [Sore arm: -1 to all arm rolls; Stabbed foot: -1 movement, bleeding]

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A small advice. Don't try things you know nothing about in lethal combat. Though, considering your luck... I don't know if it helps.

Pencil_Art, you've lucky this time. But I suggest putting as much distance between yourself and the creature as you can.

Examine the obelisk a little more and attempt to decipher the letters again. Try lightly poking it with my halberd.

If I don't find out anything, I'll take the left turn.

Labyrinth

Derek. You carefully walk into crystal corridor - and it pays off. Nothing sees you, and you also see nothing of note. It's warm and with each passing minute it gets slightly more uncomfortable to move in chainmail. While it is bearable, you sweat a lot. Spending much time here can exhaust you for some fire monsters to feast on your body. Well, not that any other part of the Labyrinth is different in this regard.

Crimson. You roar and charge into lizardman with your shield. He [1] just stands there, doing nothing - and shield strikes him straight in the jaw. While he moves his head a bit to nullify the blow, it is certainly not enough.

Lizardman: [Dislocated jaw; Bleeding; Dazed (-2); Lost Initiative]

Inael. With some effort, you finally guess the meaning behind those symbols. "Wherever you go, death will come for you." Well, damn. And here you thought that it had some useful information. Waste of time... Still, to your own amusement, you get slightly better in ancient languages.

You turn to the left, then to the right... And come just in time to witness the minotaur charging elderly-looking lizardman, the heavy shield dislocating his jaw. Someone is having fun here.

Urist. You kind of try to strike the salamander, but [1] your axe twists in your sweaty grip and instead of hacking flaming lizard into pieces, you whack it. Lightly. And... Oh gods, it burns!!!

Urist: [Lightly burnt arms (-1)]

Sukro. The stand-off with a unicorn certainly pays off when you retrace your movements a bit and arrive into small room filled with young trees, a spring joyfully running from the northern wall. In the center of the gathering, on the remnants of a fallen tree, lays a golden crown with three huge emeralds adorning it. Something tells you that it would fit perfectly even your unique physiology.

Arena

Bones calmly pulls the sword out of his still-bleeding foot and gets shield from the ground. And what Pyro was doing all this time? Well, she tried to hit something with a cracked longbow. Considering a total lack of skill and finesse, a failure had to be expected.

Bones: [Sore arm: -1 to all arm rolls; Stabbed foot: -1 movement; Bleeding]

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I have a question to all of you:
How is the game as of now and could be anything done to improve it?
Any suggestions are welcome.

"Woah, it's a minotaur! I'll help you put it down lizard guy!"

Assist the lizardman and cut the minotaur's tendons.

((I enjoy the game quite a bit. No idea how to improve it though.))
