Kircheis suddenly grew very stern. What's the matter, rookie? The aliens haven't even compromised your grey matter yet and you're already confused.

Grey pulled up alongside William. "Don't worry about tapioca-for-brains over there. We just gotta get in and get out. If there are hostiles, we shoot them until they stop being hostile. I'm off to go see to my preflight check. Catch you after the op!"

William nodded to Grey. "Yeah, you're right! Nothing to worry about." The pilot continued toward his own fighter, a lightly modified SPARTAN. Of course, most were.

Kircheis made sure the protective layer of tinfoil on the inside of his flight helmet wasn't compromised before pulling it over his head, walking up the gantry and dropping into the cockpit of his Hammer. He ignited the engines and booted his flight systems. This is Corpse Actual to Germania control: flight check complete. All systems green.
